The car of Samantha Jean Hopper, who disappeared with her daughter 23 years ago in Arkansas, has been found submerged with human remains inside. The nonprofit Adventures With Purpose discovered the vehicle on Tuesday. Hopper was last seen on September 11, 1998, heading to Little Rock. The Pope County Sheriff’s Office confirmed the remains will undergo DNA testing and expressed condolences to the families. Hopper’s daughter, Dezarea, noted her mother was nine months pregnant at the time of her disappearance, and finding the remains brought some relief.
